1. Delivery area
Emevu currently ships primarily within the United Arab Emirates.
A delivery destination is accepted only if it is available during checkout.
Emevu may add, restrict or remove delivery areas at any time.
2. Order processing time
Orders are normally prepared within 1–2 business days after payment has been accepted.
Business days normally exclude:
-
Saturdays;
-
Sundays;
-
French public holidays;
-
public holidays affecting the delivery destination; and
-
carrier closure days.
Processing may take longer during:
-
promotional periods;
-
product launches;
-
unusually high order volumes;
-
stock checks;
-
payment verification; or
-
exceptional operational disruption.
3. Estimated delivery time
After processing, delivery normally takes approximately 3–7 business days.
The total estimated time before delivery is therefore normally:
-
1–2 business days for processing; followed by
-
3–7 business days for delivery.
These periods are estimates and not guaranteed delivery dates.
4. Delivery delays
Delivery may be delayed because of:
-
carrier disruption;
-
customs procedures;
-
public holidays;
-
weather conditions;
-
high parcel volumes;
-
security checks;
-
incorrect or incomplete addresses;
-
failed delivery attempts;
-
remote delivery locations; or
-
circumstances outside Emevu’s reasonable control.
A delay does not automatically mean that the parcel has been lost.
5. Shipping charges
Shipping charges are displayed during checkout before the order is confirmed.
Free or discounted shipping may be offered:
-
during promotional periods;
-
for selected products;
-
for selected destinations; or
-
when an order meets a displayed minimum value.
Promotional shipping offers may be modified or withdrawn at any time before an order is placed.
6. Customs duties and import charges
Cross-border shipments may be subject to:
-
customs duties;
-
import taxes;
-
value-added tax;
-
customs clearance fees; or
-
local administrative charges.
Where these charges are not collected during checkout, they may be payable by the customer or recipient.
These charges are imposed by local authorities and are not controlled by Emevu.
A customer who refuses to pay customs or import charges may be responsible for:
-
the original shipping cost;
-
return shipping charges;
-
customs charges; and
-
administrative fees incurred because of the refusal.
7. Tracking information
A tracking link or tracking number will normally be sent by email after the order has been shipped.
Tracking information may take several hours or business days to update after the carrier receives the parcel.
Customers should check:
-
their inbox;
-
spam folder; and
-
junk folder.
8. Delivery address
The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate:
-
full name;
-
street address;
-
building or apartment number;
-
city;
-
postal code, where applicable;
-
telephone number; and
-
email address.
Customers should contact contact@emevu.com immediately if an address needs to be corrected.
Emevu cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after order preparation or shipment has started.
9. Incorrect or incomplete addresses
If a parcel cannot be delivered because the customer supplied an incorrect or incomplete address, Emevu may request payment of:
-
a new shipping charge;
-
a return-to-sender fee; or
-
any additional carrier charge
before resending the parcel.
Emevu is not responsible for delays caused by inaccurate information supplied by the customer.
10. Delivery attempts
The customer must follow the carrier’s instructions and make reasonable arrangements to receive the parcel.
The carrier may:
-
call the customer;
-
send a text message;
-
send an email;
-
attempt delivery more than once; or
-
leave the parcel at a collection point.
The customer is responsible for monitoring tracking information and responding to carrier communications.
11. Unclaimed parcels
If a parcel is not collected or accepted within the carrier’s deadline, it may be returned to the sender or fulfilment centre.
Emevu may request payment of a new delivery charge before resending it.
Where a refund is requested, reasonable shipping or return costs may be deducted where legally permitted.
12. Delayed parcels
Customers should contact Emevu if the parcel has not arrived after the estimated delivery period.
Emevu may:
-
review the tracking information;
-
contact the carrier;
-
open a delivery investigation; or
-
ask the customer to confirm their address.
Carrier investigations may require additional time.
13. Lost parcels
If a parcel is confirmed lost before delivery, Emevu will provide an appropriate solution, which may include:
-

-

16. Split shipments
An order containing several products may be shipped in more than one parcel.
Separate parcels may have:
-
different tracking numbers;
-
different carriers; or

Emevu may be unable to deliver to certain:

Where delivery is unavailable, the customer will be contacted and refunded if necessary.
18. Transfer of risk
The risk of loss or accidental damage transfers to the consumer when the consumer, or a person designated by the consumer, physically receives the product.
This does not include a carrier independently selected by the consumer outside the delivery options offered by Emevu.
